  • Dr. Edward Cordovado, D.C.

    Dr. Cordovado is a 1992 cum laude graduate of Life College, in Marietta, GA and received his undergraduate Coursework at Wayne State University in Detroit MI, and Monroe County Community College in Monroe, Mi. He received the prestigious Chiropractor of the Year Award in 2007 from the Georgia Chiropractic Association, which is one of the largest Chiropractic Associations in the nation for his great achievements in chiropractic and the community.

    He was a research Assistant at Life College, assisting in the development of the Life Upper Cervical Instrument Adjustment unit. He also studied the temperature changes which can indicate muscular changes pre and post chiropractic adjustments using liquid crystal thermography. Finally Dr. Ed was involved in the pre and post EEG studies and chiropractic adjustments of the upper cervical spine and their affects on epileptic seizures.

    Dr. Cordovado is a specialist in acute and chronic neuromuscular skeletal spine and extremity injuries with as emphasis on soft tissue and sports rehabilitation. He has established effective co-management of care relationships with the medical community including orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, rheumatologists, physical therapists and general practitioners. He is the Nutritional coordinator at Park Ridge Healthcare and Physical Medicine, developing and coordinating nutritional programs and counseling for our patients.

    Academic affiliations have been many for Dr. Cordovado. He is an Adjunct Faculty at Morehouse School of Medicine, Northwestern University of Health Sciences in Minneapolis, MN, and at Logan College in Lumbar, IL. Dr. Ed is on the Extension Faculty for the P.E.A.K Doctor Program at Life University in Atlanta Ga. He is also a guest Lecturer at the Salvation Army College for Officers Training in Atlanta Ga.

    Dr Cordovado is currently serving as the Past President of the Georgia Chiropractic Association. He has also been honored to serve in many different capacities over the years for the GCA. Some of these being, the Board of Directors as, Secretary/Treasurer, Vice-Chair and Chairman of the Finance Committee, also the Advisory Board Member of P.E.A.K. clinics, Georgia State Peer-Review Committee and Chairman of the Annual Georgia Chiropractic Conventions.

    Dr. Cordovado is the Founding Member of Chiropractic Coalition, the Co-Author of Georgia Senate Bill 102 and a member of the National Chiropractic Board of Examiners. He was chosen to represent the State of Georgia Chiropractors at the first Commission on Men's Health and was the Co-Director of Georgia Capital Chiropractic Clinic in Complementary Alternative Medicine at the State Capital.

    Over the years Dr. Cordovado has received many awards and Honor's for his tireless efforts to give back to the community he serves. Life University awarded him with the Outstanding P.E.A.K. Extension Faculty of the Year and he received the Dale Carnegie Book Award for Greatest Improvements. He was awarded to the Honorary Commission Deputy Sheriff in Fulton County, for services and healthcare and Life College awarded him the Clinical Excellence Award.

    Dr. Ed has received his 9th Degree Black Belt in 2009, is a Dale Carnegie Graduate, was the President of Life College Student Council, Class President at Life College and an Eagle Scout and Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Association.

    Of all his personal accomplishments his biggest one is that he married his childhood sweetheart Suzanne and have two wonderful sons Mark and Alexander.

  • Dr. Patrick Sallarulo, D.C.

    As a 1985 graduate from Life College, Dr. Sallarulo has dedicated his career to helping his patients. He received an A.A.S degree from Adirondack Community College in Glens Falls N.Y. and a B.B.A from Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y. Dr. Sallarulo also attended Oglethorpe College and Brenau College where he studied Physiological Therapeutics becoming Certified in Electrical Therapeutic Modalities. He is also certified in Insurance Claims Review by Logan College of Chiropractic and received his certification from the International College of Applied Kinesesiology.

    He feels that his patients are an extension of his family and gives them the best care possible. Dr Sallarulo was honored with The Chiropractor of the Year Award for Georgia in 2002 and The Chiropractor of the Year Award for Atlanta in 2001 from the Georgia Chiropractic Association for his outstanding accomplishments in Chiropractic and the Community. He opened Park Ridge Healthcare and Physical Medicine in 1986 and has been providing metro Atlanta with not only a complete wellness centre but educating them on their health as well.

    Dr. Sallarulo was awarded the 2009 Humanitarian Award from the Georgia Chiropractic Association for his outstanding service to various charities over the past 25 years. Past recipients have been President Jimmy Carter, Superior Judge James Oxendine and Governor Joe Frank Harris.

    Although, Dr. Sallarulo has focused many years on his Wellness Center, he still has put a major focus on the community. He served as the President of the Kiwanis of Chamblee,was a Board member and Treasurer of the Auditory Verbal Center. He is currently involved as a Board member of the Active Health Care Insurance company, National Board of Examiners Doctor and Member of the Insurance Commissioners Roundtable and member of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.

    He is the past President of the Georgia Chiropractic Examining Board (appointed by the Governor) and Chairman for the GCA/Georgia Special Olympics Committee. He has been involved as the Vice-Chairman of the Georgia Special Olympics for the State of Georgia starting in 1992 and the Chairman of Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon Leadership Committee since 2002. He is the past Vice-Chairmen of the GCA, member of the Peer Review and Ethics Committee and Treasurer of the GCA. Dr. Sallarulo was an instructor at Dekalb College teaching, Anatomy, Physiology, Physio-Therapy and Terminology.

    Dr. Sallarulo has received numerous Honor's though out his career. The Muscular Dystrophy Association awarded him The Bright Star Award for his dedication and outstanding service. He was recently awarded the Star Award from the Auditory-Verbal Center of Atlanta for his outstanding commitment and service for the past ten years. Georgia Special Olympics nominated him as the "Outstanding Adult Volunteer" for his work with Special Needs Children and Adults. Life Chiropractic College awarded him the Clinical Excellence Award. The GCA has honored him with the President's Award for Outstanding Service, two Distinguished Service Awards, Special Recognition Award and the CPAC Service Award for his contribution in promoting the great work of Chiropractic.

  • Dr. Brett Hunt

    Dr. Hunt is a recent graduate of Life University in Marietta, Ga where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Hunt is originally from Pembroke, NC and attended North Carolina State University for his undergraduate course work where he received a Bachelors in Sport Management and Minor in Sport Science. Dr. Hunt is certified in Therapeutic Modalities and is also a Certified Functional Training Specialist. Dr. Hunt grew up loving sports and playing football and baseball at a very high competitive level. After a shoulder injury early in college that ended his career, Dr. Hunt found his passion in sports performance training and injury prevention that ultimately led to him going to Chiropractic School.

    He has dedicated his life’s studies to helping individuals live a healthier active lifestyle through maximizing their performance whether on the field or in everyday life. As a Chiropractor and Functional Training Specialist Dr. Hunt has worked with all populations from youth athletes to seniors. His passion is working with athletes to improve their functional movement and overall ability to perform at their highest ability. Dr. Hunt has worked with athletes from all sports including baseball, basketball, football, hockey, tennis, lacrosse, golf etc. His training philosophy is to educate athletes on why we do what we do, build a great foundation to get bigger, faster, and stronger with specification to individual sports, all while at the same time enjoying every minute of the time left that you have to play. Dr. Hunt has worked with high level athletes from the NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL. His knowledge from working as a physical therapy aide and Chiropractor give him a great understanding on human biomechanics and how to increase athletic performance while staying as healthy as possible and keeping athletes in the game.

    Dr. Hunt has also worked with general population clients for general fitness goals and values optimal health in all his patients and clients. While helping general clients reach their fitness goals, he also likes to incorporate the athlete mindset by using functional training to better prepare for a high quality lifestyle for years to come.

    In his free time Dr. Hunt enjoys attending live music events, sporting events, spending time with family and serving within his church and community.
